China Plans to Send Rover to Mars in 2020

China is planning to send a rover to Mars in the summer of 2020. The rover is designed to explore the surface of Mars. In recent years, the country has rapidly developed its space program. In 2003, China became the third country in the world to send its own astronaut into space. In 2013, China also sent a probe to the surface of the moon.

The rover, called “Tianwen-1,” will explore the surface of Mars for three months. It is designed to explore the northern hemisphere of Mars.

China aims to use this space mission to solidify its position as a space power in the world.
