Anki Cozmo: The Robot Toy That Sold Out This Holiday Season
Anki Cozmo, the robot toy that launched earlier this year, is reportedly one of the “it” toys for the 2016 holiday season. The company, known for its Drive cars showcased by Apple, assembled a team of talent from Pixar and Dreamworks to bring Cozmo to life. The result is a robot that resembles Wall-E, complete with its own original soundtrack.
The demand for Cozmo has been so high that its initial stock sold out earlier this month, leading to a temporary halt in sales through Amazon. Anki has confirmed that production has been ramped up to meet the high demand and get more robots into the hands of consumers before Christmas.
The robot, which launched in October, has already received regular updates to expand its knowledge bank.
