Facebook Has a Way to Correct Your Crooked 360 Photos!
Facebook is developing a new technology to correct crooked 360-degree photos using a deep neural network (Deep Neural Network). This technology can automatically fix 360-degree photos that have been taken at awkward angles. While many users rely on leveling tools on their smartphones to correct images, Facebook is seeking a more innovative solution that can accurately order images that don’t have enough parallel lines to define vanishing points. Facebook’s research team has developed a new technique for 360-degree correction by training the AlexNet neural network on rotated images and determining the angle of rotation.

However, one of the biggest challenges in this project has been collecting 500,000 non-rotated images and artificially rotating them.
This feature is not yet available, but it is expected to be released in the coming months once final decisions have been made on how to enable the functionality and complete testing.
