MIT’s New Robot Can Put On Different Exoskeletons To Gain New Powers
MIT has introduced a new robot called Primer, designed as a multi-purpose robot. This robot can gain various abilities by wearing different “outfits.” These exoskeletons can enable the robot to swim in water, walk on land, and even fly.
Primer is a small cube that can move and dress itself using internal magnets. The robot can also stack multiple outfits on top of each other to gain various abilities simultaneously.
This robot can be used for various applications like exploring the surface of other planets, exploring remote parts of Earth, and performing search and rescue missions.
