Typeform Raises $35 Million to Build a Platform for Conversational Data Collection
Typeform, a startup on a mission to change the way people collect information, has raised $35 million to help fund its work. The platform, based in Barcelona, is using this funding to penetrate international markets, especially the US, and expand its tools for developers by adding more analytics and artificial intelligence features to personalize the experience. The Series B round was led by General Atlantic and includes previous Typeform backers such as Index Ventures, Point Nine, and Connect Ventures.
Typeform has raised just over $52 million in total. With this new funding, the valuation of Typeform has grown significantly.

Typeform was co-founded by Robert Muñoz and David Okuniev, two designers who were working for their own agencies in 2011. They noticed that there was no reliable, user-friendly platform available for collecting data through online forms. So, they decided to build their own, which they launched in 2012 and called Typeform.
Typeform now has over 30,000 paying customers, including small and medium businesses and Fortune 500 companies in the technology, retail, and hospitality industries.
Typeform currently doesn’t use AI in its platform, but the company is looking into integrating it to improve the user experience and add new AI-powered features.
